The Kapai Kiwis have been busy all week learning about New Zealand animals. In the beginning Miss Lologa put up a KWL chart about New Zealand. We then categorized the questions for what we wanted to find out about New Zealand. Once we did that we voted on what we would like to focus on. It was the 'Kiwi' the New Zealand bird that sparked the interest of most of the students.
The students researched and found lots of different native New Zealand animals online and resources provided by the teacher.
After their research they chose an animal to create. Watch the animoto of the class researching, creating and presenting their animals.
