Last Thursday the whole Second Grade went on a field trip to Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.
Biltmore Estate is a French Renaissance Chateau built in 1895. It was owned by George Washington Vanderbilt. It is known to be one of the largest and most impressive privately owned historic estates in the world. Our tour guide told us that it has almost 250 rooms! We saw lots of amazing architecture in the house. It really is an extravagant place to visit.
