Veterans Day is an annual holiday in the United States honoring military veterans.
Miss Lologa said that they have a day which is similar to Veterans Day called ANZAC Day. ANZAC Day is about remembering those (Australian and New Zealand soldiers) that fought and died in war.
One of the parents at New Town served in the Navy and came to talk to Second Grade. Lily got to wear a soldiers helmet and vest. She said it was very heavy.
To honor the Veterans we decided to have our own mini parade in the class room.
