Skyping New Zealand

Last week 2nd Grade Superstars skyped New Zealand for the very first time! Some of the students had not skyped before so it was their first skyping experience.

The class skyped Miss Lologa's neices in New Zealand. It was 7:30am Wednesday morning while it was Tuesday 1:30pm here in North Carolina.

The class got to ask questions and talk to Miss Lologa's neices. At the end of the skype session the class sang "One day a taniwha", a song Miss Lologa taught the class.

We are looking forward to skyping again!

Thanks to Collin who filmed this video.

We would love to Skype your classroom and talk to your students from New Zealand as well, we have only just starting talking so its very new to all our class but if you are interested next week just let us know! It would be great. Wicked to see the opportunities that students in your class are getting, who knew that Taniwha would become famous in the USA!
