Biography Writing

In Writers Workshop we wrote biographies on famous American people. We chose who we wanted to study. The class researched using the internet and library books. In our writing we had to have the following: Table of Contents, Early Life, Education, Career, Achievement and Reflection(What we learned...).
At the end of our Writing unit we had a Celebration session where we walked around the classroom and read other student's biographies. We had sticky notes to write down feedback comments about their writing.
Everybody worked hard in this writing unit and enjoyed learning about their person.
